Since I in the beginning of the summer, saw the first imported cherries, I’ve had a crawing for cherry ice cream with chocolate pieces. I don’t know why, I just have. I was visiting some relatives in the holiday, and was so lucky to get a few kilos of fresh cherries from their tree in their garden. That had to be utilized to satisfy my ice cream fetish
Food Pairing is fun to play with and when discovering that lemon zest and cardamum tastewise resembles eachother quite alot, I had to try a dish where both occurred. I don’t think its a secret that I really like to use my ice cream maker, so I quickly thought of an easy ice cream where the main testegivers were lemon zest and cardamum.
Raspberry sorbet is a fantastic ice cream, always lots and lots of taste and color, and it is perfect for dessert, either alone, or for instance with brownies. In our household, raspberry sorbet is eaten as afternoon snack, dessert, evening-coffee-snack, so it never lasts long.
